Working Hours

In order to help students integrate and develop a good work ethic and work-life balance at Internship-Spain we are flexible with our work schedules.

This allows our interns to create a timetable that is suitable and adaptable so that they can enjoy their free time during their internship.

We ask that our interns work a minimum of 20 hours per week and 4 hours per day for five days. Included in all our shifts is a one hour lunch break with meals provided by our company. At Internship-Spain we allow our interns to decide how they would like to schedule their timetables and breaks.

During the internship we provide Spanish lessons, workshops and different academic teaching.

Barcelona is a city on the coast of northeastern Spain. It is the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Catalonia, as well as the second most populous municipality of Spain. With a population of 1.6 million within city limits,

It is one of the largest metropolises on the Mediterranean Sea, located on the coast between the mouths of the rivers Llobregat and Besòs, and bounded to the west by the Serra de Collserola mountain range, the tallest peak of which is 512 metres high. Many great painters and artists worked here at some time and their influence is still evident throughout the city. Two of which are Picasso and Miró who have museums dedicated to some of their more important works.

Should you ever find yourself suffering from art and culture overload then you can spend the day recovering on one of

Barcelona's sandy beaches only a short stroll from the city centre. Order a sangria at one of the bars and kick off your shoes, sit back and soak up the sun, sea and the view. See this page Barcelona Spain beaches for more information. And we have the best weather of all Europe, from 10º in January to 30º maxi in August.
